The Prince Edward Island Department of Health, in conjunction with the Canadian Institute for Health Information, tendered an initiative to engage all of the health professional associations on PEI in a centralized member management system to assist in health human resource (HHR) forecasting. Timeless was selected to design, develop and maintain the Health Professionals Database (HPDB) for all of the health associations. The HPDB is a full featured member management system for health professional associations, colleges and societies. The system is capable of managing member information, processing member renewal, online transactions (charges and payments), accounting AR/AP and much more. It is used by the health professional associations on PEI to maintain and manage all aspects of their memberships from annual registrations to sharing health human resource (HHR) data with the PEI Department of Health, CIHI and others. Timeless managed all aspects of the project beginning with a 6 month consultative and investigative program with all 24 provincial health associations in order to build interest, assess each association’s business and regulatory process requirements, document them all and ensure that the goals of the all stakeholders, associations, provincial and federal counterparts were met.
Once the initial discovery phase was complete, Timeless designed, developed, implemented and continues to maintain the Health Professionals Database.
The Health Professionals Database provides a single point of data entry for participants across the province through a secure online system.
